Valley First launches program to help those in need

MODESTO — Valley First Credit Union, a Central Valley-based credit union dedicated to the financial well-being of its members and communities, has launched its annual Happy HoliPays program. The initiative elevates the support offered by Contact Center representatives to assist members facing financial challenges. During the holiday season, representatives are empowered to help members cover essential expenses such as medical bills, utilities, rent, mortgage payments, or provide for their families with a special budget allocated over a two-day period.

“Participating in the Happy HoliPays program during the holiday season is deeply rewarding,” said Valley First President and CEO Kathryn Davis. “Our dedication to assisting our members resonates with our core commitment to creating meaningful change, affirming the strength of our ‘doing well by doing good’ philosophy.”

In an effort to aid struggling members, Contact Center representatives have the flexibility to surprise individuals facing financial hardships with a one-time cash gift, free of any repayment obligations. During the campaign, Valley first extended a helping hand to 26 members, providing a total contribution of $18,000.
