In honor of International Women’s Day on Friday, The Madera Tribune tasked its employees to choose a woman who has made an impact on them, and on others in the Madera community.

The following are their selections.

The Madera Tribune Sports Editor Tyler Takeda selects Madera South High School Athletics Director Andrea Devine as his International Women’s Day selection. She passionately cares for each and every one of her athletes. She makes it a point to know each of their names, no matter if they are on the freshman team or on the varsity. She is always available for support and advice. She tries to make sure every one of her athletes have what it takes to make them successful.
