Traffic stop nets firearms

Madera Police Officer Cody Luginbill conducted a traffic stop in the area of 4th and H street where he contacted Raymond Lopez-Gutierrez and Alfred Nieto.

During a search of the vehicle Wednesday, a firearm, ammunition, and indicia of marijuana sales were located inside.

Both Lopez-Gutierrez and Nieto are prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition. Both were ultimately arrested and later booked for weapons and marijuana sales charges.
