Support Madera small businesses by ‘Keeping It Local’ for the holidays

The holidays are fast approaching and shoppers are starting to finish up their purchases, but some of us, me being one of them, still need help on last minute gifts and stocking stuffers ideas, so I came up with this list for our readers while keeping it local in mind.

Gift certificates are perfect. To me, food is Love, so let’s begin with some great food: The Vineyard Restaurant, DiCicco’s Italian Restaurant, Burrito King, Liu’s Village, Black Bear Diner, Ristorante Gabrella’s, Sugar Pine SmokeHouse, Perko’s, Sal’s, Round Table, IHop, Cachanilla, Pizza Factory or Rancho’s Cafe in the Madera Ranchos are just some of the choices that we are so lucky to have to choose from.

For that sweet treat, give gifts from Toffee Time or The Nut Store, aka Braga Organic Nuts, (chocolate pistachios or any nut with chocolate).

GBS and Eno’s Hardware Store have some handy gifts for that home repair person in your life, like hand or power tools or a gift certificate.

Leighton’s Jewelers has some beautiful watches and bracelets and lets not forget diamond earrings … hint, hint.

Fast Track Car Wash gift cards are a must have.

Finally, being in the know is a good thing, so give them a Madera Tribune gift certificate. Help support your hometown paper.

Well, that does it for my list, I hope you will find it helpful. It’s been a challenging year for all, so please if you can, let’s keep it local.
