Madera County District Attorney Sally Moreno’s office released a statement Friday about the sentencing of Briseida and Sukhjinder Sran.
The parents of Thaddeus and Divina sran were officially sentenced in court Friday after pleading guilty in July to the murders of two-year-old Thaddeus and four-month-old Divina.
Brieseida Sran admitted to the 2020 killing of 2-year-old Thaddeus Sran, as well as the killing of another child, her 4-month-old daughter, Divina Sran, in 2015.
Briseida Sran has accepted responsibility for both deaths and will be sentenced to 28 years in prison.
Her husband, Skhjinder Sran, has also pled guilty in the killing of Thaddeus. There is no evidence of his involvement in the killing of Divina.
Sukhjinder Sran will serve 11 years in prison after accepting responsibility for his actions.
