The Madera County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting a family disturbance with shots fired and possible injury at a residence in the 16000 block of D Street in Madera.
Shortly after 11 a.m. Monday, an employee from a local cleaning company heard a disturbance and went to offer help and found a father and son in a physical struggle over a firearm.
Law enforcement personnel arrived on scene and established a perimeter around the house to attempt to make contact with the suspect inside.
