School Compact to host annual mixer

The Madera County Compact will hold its third annual mixer on Thursday, March 8, in the Madera County Superintendent of Schools Conference Center at 1105 South Madera Ave. from 5-7:30 p.m. This is an adults-only event.

The Compact, a school-support organization, is sponsored by the Madera County Superintendent of Schools Office, along with the following:

• Bass Lake Chamber of Commerce

• Chowchilla Chamber of Commerce

• Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce

• Golden Valley Chamber of Commerce

• Madera Chamber of Commerce

• North Fork Chamber of Commerce

• Oakhurst Chamber of Commerce

The Compact mixer will highlight past Crystal Tower Award winners and showcase the “Innovative Careers Build Successful Communities” Compact actions over the last few years.

The event will provide a setting in which the Madera County Compact’s goals and accomplishments can be shared, while also providing an opportunity to network and share about the opportunities in Madera County while sipping local wines and nibbling on appetizers.

Those opportunities include the Crystal Tower Awards, National Manufacturing Day, Madera Youth Conference “Health Careers Start Here,” and the summer ag camp.
