Relic of Saint Jude the Apostle coming to St. Joachim Church

The relic of Saint Jude Thaddeus is the arm of Saint Jude, removed from his tomb and placed in a wooden box carved in the shape of a priestly arm. This relic has been on pilgrimage in the United States since September 2023, and will be at St. Joachim Catholic Church this week.

Saint Jude was one of Christ’s Apostles, and is known as the “Apostle of the Impossible.” He came from Nazareth and was the son of Mary of Cleophas, one of the three women who were present at the cross of Jesus.

The relic has been thought to have healing powers, and so many have come to visit the display and prayed for healing.
