Mad Kids Summer Camp

The Madera Police Department’s Mad Kids Summer Camp is a sports-based camp for children in grades fourth through sixth. The summer camp will be held July 11-13 at the John Wells Youth Center (701 E. 5th Street) from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be snacks and lunch daily and a T-shirt with lots of fun. Aqua Dash

Water aerobics Aqua Dash is a fun and low-impact way to stay fit and healthy for adults ages 50 and over. Classes begin June 13 from Tuesday-Friday at the Centennial Pool Complex (221 Flume Street) from 9-9:50 a.m. The cost is just $1 per class. For information, contact the parks department at 661-5495.

Open Swim

The Centennial Pool Complex will host open recreation swim Tuesdays through Fridays (June 13-August 4) from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Adaptive swim will be Saturdays from 9-10:30 a.m. from June 17-July 29. Admission is $1 youth and $2 for adults. Open swim is available for all ages. Children under 46 inches must be accompanied by an adult. Contact the parks department at 661-5495 for information.
