Early Thursday morning, Madera Police officers responded to a pedestrian being struck by a train in the area of Sharon Avenue and Riverside Drive.
When officers arrived, they found a 44-year old male near the railroad tracks. He was deceased.
All involved parties were contacted on scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation, however there is no indication of foul play.
