Television has been a part of my life since the time I was born. The birth announcement in my Baby Book is a postcard written by my mother that reads:
“Well, Mom and Dad went and did it. They got us a new baby sister. Her name is Tamara Jo Hill… We would have rather had a TV!” and signed with my brother’s names Rocky and Brian.
When I was growing up the Fresno television market had three channels, 24, 30 and 47, NBC, ABC and CBS. When Fox launched channel 26 I remember that it was a very big deal.
