Obituary: Memories of Joyce Ann Malone

Joyce Malone was born in Madera, California to the union of George and Olivia Smith on October 15, 1946. The Smith’s union produced eighteen children in which Joyce was the fourteenth child. Joyce received her formal education at Madera High School along with her siblings.

It was during Joyce’s high school years that she met and later married Ralph Malone. Their union produced two children, Cynthia and Ralph, Jr. The family lived in Madera, California and later relocated to Oakland, California. Joyce loved and was dedicated to her family.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory daughter Cynthia and son-in-love Richard, grandchildren, Raichel and Noah, four sisters; Dorothy Washington, Marie Bowers, Eldora Clarck, and Luvenia Magee; nephew/brother James Richards; best friend Marcella Cooper and many nieces, nephews and friends.
