New restaurant brings new tastes to Madera

Rio Acai Bowls opened and held a ribbon cutting and grand opening on the same day, January 27.

“Today was the first day opening. It’s the first of everything. It’s go big or go home,” said co-owner and manager Abigail Gonzalez on the first day of business for Rio Acai Bowls (1301 W. Olive Ave. #D).

Gonzalez owns the business with her husband, Juan and her parents, Bobby and Alicia, who also own RidX Pest Control.
