New public works director announced

The County of Madera announced the appointment of Madera resident Dominic Tyburski as its new Public Works Director.

With more than 27 years of experience in public infrastructure, engineering, and project management, Tyburski brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the department. He is a licensed civil engineer and has earned a civil engineering degree from CSU Fresno and a Master of Public Administration degree from Arkansas State.

As Public Works Director, Tyburski will oversee essential services, including road maintenance, capital improvement projects, development services, and solid waste management, ensuring that Madera County’s infrastructure meets the needs of the growing community.
