Madera Unified will begin its 2022-2023 school year with more than 20,000 students attending school physically, full-time five days a week beginning Monday.
Madera Unified will continue following California Department of Public Health guidelines and protocols at all 30 school campuses.
“Our students, teachers, support staff and leaders did some truly outstanding work last year to help us rise from the ashes of the pandemic, and it’s time for us to all stand together in even more intentional ways to build stronger partnerships than ever before,” said Madera Unified Superintendent Todd Lile.
Elementary school students begin their day at 8 a.m. Madera, Madera South and Matilda Torres high school students begin at 8:30 a.m. while the middle schools start at 8:45 p.m.
