Newly elected Madera County Superintendent of Schools Board Members Dianna Marsh and Wallace Nishimoto, along with re-elected members Shelley Deniz and Cathie Bustos, took the Oath of Office on December 17 at the Madera County Superintendent of Schools Conference Center.
Madera County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Cecilia Massetti administered the Oath of Office, and honored retiring Board Members Nancy Prosperi and Zimri Padilla for their years of service to Madera students and the community. Prosperi will continue her work with Madera students through the Madera County Schools Foundation Board.
Following the Oath of Office ceremony, the Board of Education elected officers, Bustos, who has served on the Board since 1998, was selected as Board President and Danny Bonilla was nominated as Board Vice President.
