Madera Community Hospital received its first disbursement from the approved $57M Distressed Hospital Loan last week.
These funds are essential to help facilitate the very costly process of reopening a closed hospital. Capital improvements such as updating equipment needed to care for patients and operational expenses, including the hiring and training of all the employees will be funded through this Distressed Hospital Loan.
The facility is being prepared as we speak. Significant investments have already been made in updating the facility and we are very excited for the community to see the improvements soon.
