On Saturday, May 5, the traditional Cinco de Mayo observance also will be Cinco de Vino, courtesy of the Madera Wine Trail.
Participating Madera wineries will have wine production information, education on the wines and winemakers available to discuss the techniques that go behind making these award-winning wines.
Some wineries will play host to food trucks and offer live music and treats to pair with the featured wines.
Therese Williams, executive administrator for the Madera Vintners Association, said “Cinco De Vino is going to be a wonderful day to enjoy Madera’s award-winning wines and enjoy the spirit of Cinco De Mayo with vino!”
