Since my mom and I began our involvement in Friends of Madera Animal Shelter, we constantly have phone calls here at Peck’s about animals.
Diana Frazier with FMAS said that there were 38 phone calls that she could not return.
There are so many people in desperate need of help with strays and their own overpopulation of animals. They call us out of desperation, and because the shelter will out and out say, “we can’t help you, but call FMAS.”
