Well, I guess congratulations need to go out to the writer of a recent “commentary” in the Tribune. You have again reinforced my feelings and opinion about the two biggest faults of the Democrat Party and its followers. But I guess my feelings and opinions don’t matter as they don’t stack up to the obviously educated “facts” (?) that were presented.
I guess my lack of an education has forced me to choose ignorance over “facts,” even as biased as those half truths may be. The writer reinforced my feelings that the Dems respect our first amendment rights we have, just as long as they align with their views. That, I find, to be a major fault of the party. Trying to disregard my opinions is a very common trait of those on the left. It has happened to me numerous times, as well as it has happened to many of my friends, who, I will admit, tend to be on the conservative side.
Another fault of the Dems is the fact that all they do is criticize Donald Trump for his actions but never say what they are going to do to make our country a better place for American citizens. I have asked, many times, for someone to tell me what their agenda is going to be other than reversing anything Trump has done and making every attempt to impeach him if they gain control of the government.
Are they going to open the borders and let millions more illegal aliens come in to the country, unvetted, criminals and all? Are they going to grant the millions already here citizenship, turning them into voters to ensure they keep control? Are they going to allow men to play in women’s sports and allow them into women’s locker rooms?
Are they going to continue on their quest to turn our country into a socialist society like they have in New York City, Seattle and soon to be Washington, D.C.? Are they going to stack the Supreme Court? Are they going to push for Puerto Rico and D.C. to become states so they can have four more senators?
Are they going to allow the taxpayers to pay for gender reassignment surgeries for criminals in the prison system, which Kamala Harris promised to do? Are they going to allow children to receive gender affirming care, at the taxpayers expense and often times against parents wishes? Are the cuts to the frivolous programs supported by USAID going to be restored?
Are they going to try to turn the U.S. into what has become of California with questionable election policies and rampant fraud? Are they going to continue to support crazed radical candidates like Graham Platner and James Tallarico?
These topics are what the American people want to know, and there are many more that they have been silent about — too many for me to mention. There almost seems to me to be a bit of secrecy in the party in their reluctance to disclose what their plan is for the country. Many of these things are what the people voted against when they overwhelming rejected Kamala Harris and her plan to radically change the U.S. Be careful who you vote for, because sometimes, you get what you ask for.
Contrary to what was written in a previous letter, opinions are meant to be respected, of course unless you are one of the liberal left wing Democrats who have nothing but hate for our president and anything conservative, and like I said before, respects first amendment rights, just as long as the opinions align with theirs.
I, also, agree with the writer that ignorance kills — just look at what it has done to the radical left wingers who have captured the Democrat party and its members.
