I belong to a ladies golf group and we are upset the city is talking about closing the course.
The course is the only nice place to golf in Madera. It is the only place that is nice and affordable for the working persons in Madera.
The course serves the city with tournaments and social functions; there are no other places as nice for activities.
Our group plays at the course a lot and would be very sad to see anything happen to the course.
The employees are all great, too, and very helpful. Please do not close the course. It is the only one a lot of golfers can afford to play.
We do not need another park or more homes, We need the golf course.
