There’s been a song in my head for about two weeks now, and it keeps popping up in the mornings as I do my little early-morning routines. It’s from the movie Jesus Christ Superstar, which we saw at a church potluck gathering the evening before Palm Sunday.
I wasn’t really wild about the movie itself, but this song has really suck in my head, like an ear worm. The song is, “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” and in the movie it was sung by the character Mary Magdalene. I cannot get it out of my head.
I have written before about ear worms. They are songs that come to mind, either because you hear them and they stick in the mind, or something reminds you of that song. Either way, it can be quite annoying when you cannot shake it.
