It’s a snap

Sugar snap peas are delicious, even raw. I like them stir-fried, plain except for a little bit of soy sauce and maybe some chopped garlic. They are also really good as additions to many casseroles or even soups.

One time, I added some to homemade chicken noodle soup and they worked out great. If you cook a lot of Asian dishes, the sugar snaps lend themselves well to a great variety of meals.

Most of the time I end up just snacking on them. I prefer the ones that are rounded rather than flat, but once in a while there are some pods that are overly mature and long past prime. They get tossed.
