When Marcel McAllister goes to bed most nights, visions of chicken tenders could be floating in his head. Most recently, however, those dreams have turned to lemonade. When McAllister wakes up after Christmas, the gift he will find under his tree is Fury Labs Lemonade.

McAllister is known throughout the Central Valley for his Fury Hot Chicken, which specializes in freshly hand-made battered chicken tenders. However, his other company, Fury Labs, will produce Hands by Fury Lemonade — sold in a can — and soon to be displayed throughout the Central Valley. Hands by Fury Lemonade will make its debut in Madera at Food-4-Less this week.

“What makes this lemonade special is it’s an organic product with no preservatives in it,” McAllister said “It doesn’t have any dyes or starches. It lasts for a year and branded to spec. When you look at the lemonade or fruit juice industry, it’s the main companies you know today like Snapple, MinuteMaid and Tropicana. It stands out from that. We are an edgy brand. The hand comes out and strangles the fruit in it on the logo. When we first started the food truck, we only sold that lemonade, and didn’t sell anything else. We didn’t sell sodas or waters.
