Most people I know have heard me say that I make families wherever I am. This is true, because I value relationships very much. Although I have lots of family in various parts of our country, my husband and I don’t have any family in Madera.
I know several Maderans who were born and raised here, and have lived here their entire lives. Many of their friendships have been lifetime relationships here. They went to school together, some have worked together, and now attend their class reunions together.
I must say I am somewhat enviable of these relationships.
