The Merced Communications Center (MCC) received a call of a crash involving two vehicles, at the intersection of Avenue 7 and Avenue 7 1/2 (Firebaugh Boulevard).
CHP Madera Area officers responded to the scene Wednesday morning at about 10:15 a.m.
A 40-year-old woman from Winton was driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra, traveling westbound on Avenue 7, approaching the T-intersection at Avenue 7 1/2. A 55-year-old man from Firebaugh was driving a 2008 Ford F-250, traveling eastbound on Avenue 7 1/2, approaching Avenue 7.
