The Madera District Fair Board announced the resignation of CEO, Tom Mitchell effective March 31st.
After 16 years of dedicated service at Madera District Fair, Mitchell has accepted the position of Deputy Executive Director for California Fair Services Authority, CFSA.
“Tom’s vision for Madera District Fair has always been driven by passion for the betterment of the fair and its service to the community of Madera in both celebration and support,” read a statement from the Madera Fair. “The impact of his work is evident in the ground improvements and development, a wonderfully successful annual fair, an equally passionate staff and strong community relationships, stretching well beyond the boundaries of the fairgrounds.”
