In September of 2021, a group of educators from Madera Unified School District (MUSD) and the Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) held a meeting with Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT).

Trouble seemed to be in the air.

The flag of fraud was waving over Ezequiel Tafoya Alvarado Academy (ETAA) public charter school.
