A grand reception was held at Madera United Methodist Church for Dora Pierotti, who turned 100 on October 6.
Friends and family came to congratulate and celebrate her on October 7 at the church.
Dora was born to Italian immigrants Costantino and Rita Boria in Madera on October 6, 1923. She attended the old Howard Elementary School, and then graduated from Madera High School in 1941.
