After a tough loss to Redwood the day before, the Madera Coyotes baseball team allowed seven runs in the final two innings of an 11-4 loss to Liberty-Bakersfield in the 22nd annual Central Baseball Classic at Mel Parker Field.

The Coyotes battled to tie the game at four in the fifth inning, but they allowed six runs in the sixth for the loss Friday afternoon.

The Coyotes’ defense hasn’t been there from the start of the season. In three games this season, the Coyotes have committed 10 errors.
