County supervisors recognize child support month

The Madera County Board of Supervisors recognized August as Child Support Awareness Month during the regular scheduled meeting on Tuesday morning.

Recognizing and supporting a critical service that touches the lives of thousands within the community, Child Support Services Month was recognized by the Supervisors as a time to acknowledge the vital role the program plays in supporting the well being of families and children who benefit from the program.

A proclamation was presented to the 28 dedicated individuals working in the County’s Child Support Services Department, each bringing their expertise and commitment to making a positive impact in the families it serves.
