The anticipation is building as the Madera Fair is just days away from ‘Lighting Up the Night’ September 7-10.

This year’s fair promises more, bigger and better than ever with exciting new events and age old competitions that will captivate visitors of all ages. With an entertainment lineup that showcases everything from culinary showdowns to livestock events steeped in tradition to a hot headline concert series, the Madera Fair, presented by Valley Childrens Healthcare is a not-to-be-missed celebration of community, talent, and fun.

Community competitors will don their goods at live food judging events through the run of the fair. The returning Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest has more than 40 competitors and will be judged live on stage in the Home Arts Hall on September 7 at 7:30 p.m. to a packed house.
