It was Polynesian Day at Cedar Creek, and the residents and friends enjoyed the festivities on Friday.

The day began with the main event at 10 a.m. A company of Polynesian dancers performed with their costumes and routines in the beautiful back yard of Cedar Creek. The show entertained folks for about 30 minutes, with the Hawaiian and Polynesian dances, including couples, children, and hula dances. Of course, no Hawaiian show is complete without the dances in the grass skirts.

Residents had been informed of the schedule of the day, so each was given a colorful lei to wear, and many of the men and women wore Hawaiian shirts, Hawaiian dresses, or other very colorful attire.
