The Community Action Partnership, Madera County-Victim Services will host the 17th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event Friday evening at Courthouse Park.
Check-in begins at 5 p.m. with the walk at 5:45 p.m. The event is free.
CAPMC expects more than 100 people to attend the event. The first 50 to register receive a T-shirt. As of Monday, there were only 30 registered.
