Letter: Can’t change opinion

I have tried very hard not to respond to Lorraine Goodwin’s letters and don’t want to call her an ignorant, blathering idiot (but guess I just did). She stated, “anyone who votes for Trump is mentally unfit and Trump has zero credibility.” That was his predecessor that had those qualities and he did virtually nothing in the eight years he was in office.

Obama did approve the taking down of Osama Bin Laden, but what else constructive did he do in his eight years? I can’t think of anything. I am one of those she believes is mentally unfit, because I did vote for Trump in 2016, and will vote for him again in 2020 — because I have seen nobody on either side that can beat him.

Goodwin is so filled with hate of Trump that she can’t see straight. It’s just too much trouble to try to correct her and I will never be able to change her warped thinking.
