Lawrence Fernandez.

Lawrence Fernandez, 73, of Madera, CA, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026. Lawrence was a resident of Madera, where he built a life centered around hard work, creativity, and family.

A highly skilled craftsman, he spent years working as a welder at Baltimore Air Coil and IKG, and later retired from Table Mountain, where he served as a dedicated electrician. Lawrence possessed a sharp, inventive mind, and one of his proudest milestones was successfully securing his own patent — an achievement that brought him immense excitement and joy.

Family was the ultimate cornerstone of Lawrence’s life. He is survived by three beloved sons, Lawrence (Sole), Eric, and David; the mother of his children Ana; and his six grandchildren, Angel, Ethan, David, Conner, Sophia, and Andrew, who were his absolute pride and joy.

He also leaves behind his devoted mother, Catalina; his brothers, Gilbert and Lupe; and his sisters, Linda, Margie, Helen, Anita, and Lisa.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his father, Fred; his brother, Fred Jr.; and his sisters, Caroline, Evelyn, and Esther.

His legacy of dedication, brilliant ingenuity, and deep love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
