Veterans’ Voices is directed toward veterans and their families who have given so much to ensure our freedom in this country. You will smell the BBQs going and the hot sun blazing. Labor Day weekend means the summer ending is getting close here in the United States. It is a time to relax and enjoy family and friends and take advantage of sales going on at the local retail stores.
Labor Day, which falls on the first Monday in September, was initially established to honor the contributions and achievements of American workers and their labor unions. However, I was just thinking how there is a connection between Labor Day and the military.
