Some may have noticed a large police presence on Madera and Olive avenues on Tuesday as Madera Police Department officers were taking a wanted subject into custody.

The subject was uncooperative and was displaying a knife. Officers were able to safely subdue the subject with the use of their Taser and take him into custody.

“We appreciate everyone’s patience as traffic was stopped while officers took him into custody,” said the Madera PD.
