The Madera Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Madera Avenue and Maple Street.
Officers arrived Monday evening two minutes later and located an adult male, Keith Brown, 72, lying on the southbound lane of State Route 145 (Madera Avenue).
Brown was residing at the new apartment complex near Carl’s Jr on Lewis street. He was apparently struck crossing the street walking east.
