O’NEALS — The Matilda Torres Toros baseball team scored early and often to earn its second straight trip to the Central Section Championship game.

“The job is not done,” head coach Bryan Rubalcaba said.

The ninth-seeded Toros opened the game with a four-run first inning and rode that to a 12-6 victory Friday over the fourth seeded Minarets Mustangs. The Toros play in the Div. VI championship game a year after losing in the Div. V championship game.
