This week The Madera Tribune and the community gathered to celebrate the life of Tami Jo Nix. It was, indeed, a celebration.
The room was saturated with the color red, and there was an abundance of Fastway Chicken, potato and macaroni salads, breads, DiCicco’s lasagna and penne pasta, and three huge cakes, all decorated with Peanuts characters.
All the foods were selections from what she loved to eat.
