Though the name has been slightly changed since it started 13 years ago, people from all over the Central Valley converged to the Madera District Fairgrounds for the annual Madera Pomegranate, Fruit and Nut Festival hosted by the Madera Chamber of Commerce Tourism Alliance Committee.
Community members enjoyed many vendors and entertainment at the festival Saturday. Along with wandering through the Fairground perusing the many food options and the many craft options, as well as businesses showcasing their specialties, there was plenty of entertainment.
Mariachi Honor Juvenil had a special performance to open the festivities, as well as performances from Madera’s Got Talent, the African Drum Interactive, a food and wine pairing from San Joaquin Wine Company and more.
