Supervisors recognize retiring superintendent

Madera County’s Board of Supervisors honored two County champions in the realms of education and sports during its regular meeting.

A public hearing closing and approving submission of the Community Development Block Grant was also held, and the Sheriff Coroner’s Office introduced an ordinance amending the County Code regarding boating as visitation to nearby lakes heats up.

Proclamations and certificates of recognition from the County and multiple State representatives were given to Madera County School Superintendent Cecelia Massetti as she embarks on her retirement, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the school district.
