After working on the River Fire for about a week, Cal Fire officials have ruled it 100 percent contained.
On Tuesday, Cal Fire announced that the 9,656 acre fire was fully contained on Monday.
There were no fatalities reported in the fire and only six structures were destroyed. There was just one residence damaged in the fire.
Engine crews will continue to patrol the fire area over the next couple of days, Cal Fire stated in a press release.
