Pedestrians hit by truck

Madera Police Department Officers were dispatched to Granada Drive and Cleveland Avenue for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision.

When officers arrived Saturday afternoon, they determined a vehicle turned southbound onto Granada when it struck three pedestrians as they were walking in the crosswalk.

The pedestrians were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The vehicle was identified as a Ford pickup truck. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. Drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the collision.
