MUSD hosts annual classified conference

MUSD hosts annual classified staff conference with engaging speakers and large audience.
The Madera Unified School District hosts its annual classified staff conference, featuring keynote speakers and active participation.

More than 800 classified employees from across Madera Unified came together at Matilda Torres High School for the district’s annual Classified Professional Development Conference — an energizing full-day event focused on growth, connection, and student success.

The day opened with a powerful keynote by motivational speaker Cedric Crawford, known as, “Mr. Make It Great.” His inspiring message encouraged staff to lead with purpose, positivity, and passion, setting an uplifting tone for the day’s learning and collaboration.

This year’s theme, Building Bridges to Bright Futures, reflected the committee’s goal of helping classified staff see their vital role in connecting students to opportunity, support, and achievement. Whether in transportation, nutrition, technology, communications, campus safety, office and administrative support, or any of the many roles represented at the event, every classified employee plays a vital part in shaping the path to student success.
