When Devin Delgado graduated from Madera South in 2020, he really didn’t have any options for higher education.
His only thought process was to go to either Fresno State or Fresno City College. He also had an opportunity to go to a college in Wisconsin to play football, but couldn’t secure a student loan.
After about the 10th time, West Hills College head football coach Justin Berna reached out to Delgado. Delgado finally took him up on the offer.
