The Madera South Stallions had trouble getting started, but settled down in a 12-4 season opening loss to the Edison Tigers at Eddie Chapa Field.

The Stallions walked 11 batters and committed eight errors in the loss. Of the 12 runs, eight were earned.

Edison wasn’t clean, as well. They walked 10 batters in the win, but only allowed three hits.
