Deputy Ricky Cabrera represented the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at the NorCal Battle of the Badges September 6 in Sacramento.

In a light heavyweight matchup, hosted by the United Combat Association (UCA), Deputy Cabrera faced off against CDCR’s Rogelio Soto. Cabrera came out victorious.

Not only did he win the bout, but he was also honored with the Aztec Warrior Award and a UCA medal.
