MCDPH announces mobile health team

The Madera County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) is proud to announce the release of its new mobile health vans.

The two vans will serve as Madera County resource hubs and will play a pivotal role in MCDPH’s commitment to increasing public health services accessibility to underserved communities including people experiencing homelessness and residents with limited transportation. They are staffed by MCDPH personnel who are knowledgeable about county and partner programs and can connect community members to essential services.

The vans and the mobile heath team were presented at Tuesday’s Madera County Board of Supervisor meeting.
